Have you ever noticed that you rarely if ever have a bad Christmas ? I don't think the answer to this lies with religion per se, but with the power of our minds. Think about this: A large majority of the people on this planet are at peace at this time; our thoughts are ones of contentment and love, laughter and sex, celebration and gratitude. So, to my way of thinking, we are using a lot of our psychic energy on a major level and shaping our reality. I only wish that we had many more holidays that brought out the better part of us so we could live in a better world. If we take the time every day to coordinate and shape our reality, just think what we could do. As we are made from Divine energy (or at the very least the material from old stars/the Universe) we have the power. We manifest the divine every day whether we're aware of it or not.
If you can stay mindful of that every minute, you can make this world a paradise.
Now it could be that I'm being influenced by the very energy I'm espousing and am completely full of shit. But I don't think so. We're all little transmitters and we pick up on what is around us. Ever been in a room of crabby people, then wonder why your mood is going to hell ? THAT'S the reason.
So light the candles, make love with abandon, reach for that dream. You can do it !
With that in mind, I'm going to ask women out (even if they're in their twenties), get stoned more, and get back to all those things I drifted away from.
